The Layers:

  • 1 cup - Sali (Readymade potato matchsticks/sticks)
  • 3 nos - Eggs
  • 1 tbsp - Butter or Ghee

The Base Masala:

  • 1 medium - Onion (Finely chopped)
  • 1 medium - Tomato (Finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Garlic Paste & Green chillies
  • 0.25 tsp - Turmeric & Red Chilli Powder

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. The Tomato Base: Ek pan mein butter garm karein. Pyaz, hari mirch aur lehsun ko saute karein. Tamatar aur masale dalkar tamatar ko ekdum naram (jam-like) hone tak pakayein.
  2. The Potato Bed: Jab base tyar ho jaye aur flat ho jaye, gas ko ekdum low (simmer) kar dein. Pake hue masale ke upar dher saari crispy Sali (potato sticks) ki ek moti layer bichha dein.
  3. The Egg Layer: Sali ke upar kachhe ande tod kar daal dein (sunny side up ki tarah). Andon ki zardi (yolk) tootni nahi chahiye.
  4. Season: Andon ke upar namak, kali mirch aur kata hua hara dhaniya chhidkein.
  5. Steam/Bake: Pan ko dhak dein aur bilkul dheemi aanch par 5-7 minute pakne dein. Ande ki safedi (white) set ho jani chahiye par zardi (yolk) runny rehni chahiye.
  6. Serve: Spatula se pizza ki tarah slice karein aur Sali ke crunch ke sath enjoy karein!
